Default mass air

i ordered a mass air, but i think i got the wrong one. it said 5.0 cobra for 24lbs injectors. However, i think it is for the 93. can i use this on my 94, or do i need to get a different one?

I could be wrong but as far as I know it should work if you have 24lb injectors. If it fits give it a try. I don't think there was any huge differences in the computer between 93-94.

actaually, there was quite a bit of difference between the 93-94 computers, at least according to Pro-M, who makes a retrofit computer conversion kit for the 94-95's that they claim makes a lot more power using the older computer.

the directions were not very good, but from what it looks like i think i can get it to fit if i remove my cold air induct. Would it be worth it to do that, or am i just better sending it back and using the money on something else?

why do you think its for a 93'? Is the air filter mount different?

send it back and get the right one. Install your old one untill the correct one arrives. Not a problem.

If you still have the stock computer you should get the mass calibrated for 19# injectors. I would get the prom 77mm. jmo

I disagree. Considering he has a 94 Cobra, which came stock with 24 lb. injectors, that is not true.

Okay let's stop right here and get our facts straight. When you order a mass air for a 94cobra(mak375's car) he will have to tell them that it is a stock computer car with the 24# injectors. They will then send you a meter that says something like cobra and 19# injectors. This is right. You need a 19# calibrated meter for a stock cobra. The meter and injectors are not matched like other cars. There is a good article on this site that gives alot of info on mass air.
