I would say around 650hp with a stud girdle. Buy one from DSS. I definately wouldn't even ask for more on a stock crank and rods. I'm not sure what kind of build you got going there but 650hp is a good number. Get the Girdle....You won't regret it. As long as you keep the RPM's down to between 6000 and 6500MAX it should last you a while. But if you are reving it sky high like a vtec forget about it. I know they can be build to take a lot more but I think those may be different blocks.
This information is off the top of my head and I'm not 100% about it. I would recommend you do more research.

I have a DSS girdle and windage tray and although I haven't had the engine above 4 grand I'm happy with the girdle and the ease that it went in. Very good product. As far as the max rating goes, that's tough. I read 700-800HP is legit but many things need to be upgraded along with the crank.

Hey Joey50gt,
I wouldn't feel stupid about the whole horsepower thing being way off but the last time I checked, the correct spelling you are looking for is dumb, not bumb, now you may feel like a dumb***.

Block filler works wonders. My block is of 79 vintage and will hold about 750hp on motor.
