I don't know about the casting numbers, but I can tell you the main caps are visually a lot beefier. I can visualize the differences but I can't describe them well.

They will say "MEX" in small lettering around the distributor hole.

The letters MF are by the distributor hole. The F is made by attaching the two horizontal lines to the last vertical line of the M.
