Default fat guy broke my seat

Hey all,

The d-side (closest to the door) seat rail in my 93 GT is broken. What will fit? It's the standard GT Seat. Will one off an LX be good? What year? Any help would be appreciated.

All Mustang (GT, LX, V6 and 4 bangers) front seats from 87-03 are interchangeable. I have a set of SN-95 GT seats in my Fox.

any fox (including thunerbird, cougar...) seat from 79-03 will have a rail that will work.

I also have SN95 GT seats in my car, they bolted straight up

Great. Seems that if you get rails out of a 5.0 they want $$$. If you get'm out of a 2.3 then they only want $.

you are better off getting them from a 2.3 because they probably have not seen as much stress. The v8 puts more pressure on the occupant thus pushing the seat back more.

If your seat rail is broken you should probably check your floorpan also as they are notorious for tearing where the bolts go through for the seat.
