![]() Okay I've decided to go with screw in studs and guideplates on my '70 351 heads I'm building. I've got ARP's entire list and I don't know which ones to get. I measured the press in studs before I pulled them, they stuck up about 1.8 inches, and the hole they were in is about 1.2 inches deep. In ARP's listings they've got them from 1.75 to 3 inches tall, and from .7 to 1.65 inches deep, and all kinds of combinations in between. Some of them also have a shank on the bottom of the nut to locate guideplates. Soooooo I'm totally lost since I've never put anything like this together. Doees anybody have a part # from the ones you used? Also, what guideplates should I get and do I need the shank piece? Please help as I'll be out of school in 3 weeks and that means no machine shop which means the stang has to sit all summer!!! Thanks a lot! -Mark
