Exclamation More Sportsman 351 block questions?

I got my Sportsman A351 block sonic checked to see if it could go .040 over. The thrust and non-thrust surfaces were fine, but the machine shop was worried about the thickness between cylinders. Right now it is at .082. The cylinders need to be bored another .010 or so, so the thickness would be reduced by .050 or so between cylinders. Is this okay? This seems pretty thin, but I don't know what is normal in this area. Any input is appreciated.

You should be able to have them sleeve the block unless you have reasons for not doing that..like spending the money!
