Motor mounts!
 

Ok, I am looking for some solid motormounts for my car i have a hal kmember and i originally bought energy suspension mounts for it, and they didnt fit, and the place i bought them from will not take them back, so now that iam out 180 iam going to get some solids, so if anyone can give me a name of some good products i would apreciate it!

Did you check the numbers??? they just started making motor mounts last year for mustangs.(energy suspension that is)
I would find out for sure....

Heads,intake and cam are all here

i just got off the phone from energy suspension and they say they dont make them for my k member. well thanks ill check out summit for the solids, if anyone has anyother suggestions for solids i would appreciate it . thanks

How could the motormounts not fit. I thought that all of the motor mounts for Mustangs were the same, I have the Energy Suspension in my Stang, and they are the same as stock. That would mean that you have to use special motor mounts. Did you run into a problem with a little pin on the contact pad? If you did there was an article in one of the magazines recently that installed these on a tubular k-frame. They had to grind down the little pin. Check before you get rid of these mounts!!!!!!

i actually ran into the problem with the little pin it fits on one side but on the other it does not
cause on one side the pin and bolt are virtical and on the other horizontal, and its the horizontal side thats giving me the problem, but yet on the verticle side also with the pin it forces the bolt to high and makes it almost impossible to get a nut on it! thanks for the insight on the mag article ill see if i can find something on the web, if anyone knows anything please let me know thanks for the help!
