![]() my friend wants to pick up a motor out of a mid 90's ford pickup truck for $200 its a complete 302 with fuel injection as far as i understand, which was recently rebuilt. i'm assuming since its been rebuilt it was probably bored .30 over. is it possible to bore a 302 out .60 over without coming too near the water jackets? if it was bored .60 over would there be any issues or concerns with overheating? The guy wants to throw in a new set of slugs, rods, and crank. The whole shot, but i'm concerned about the additional bore...... can anyone give me a little advice?
thanks guys.
