what is all involved in puting it inside the car under the pass seat?

RoadWarrior 02-20-2004 01:59 PM

All your gonna have to do is lengthen all the wires. Buts its not hard by any means.

DemonGT 02-20-2004 02:31 PM

on a aftermarket ignition like MSD or crane where do the wires have to go to??

RoadWarrior 02-20-2004 04:39 PM

you will have 2 for main power, 1 switched power, 2 for the coil, and then 1 or 2 for the signal.

On EFI they use the + & - that run to the factory coil as their signal wire...so basically the box is an inline amplifier before the coil.

The MSD manual says not to mount in the glovebox.....

anyone ever have problems with their stock tach?

In the Glove Box it was well ventilated. No ac or anything so that wasn't a problem.
