2 things as Jeff has stated, why the neutral safety switch? and also I have hooked them up with a switch to the brakes lights before because, think about it the only time you want it to come on you will have the brake lights one IE burnout, and staging, The reason for the switch is so on the street you can manually turn it off so it doesn't play a factor during regular driving. If you have a line lock that is a good place to wire to as well as stated earlier.
