Default msd on 79-85 mustangs ?

DOES ANYONE HAVE TACH PROBLEMS WITH THERE MSD ON 79-85 DURA SPARK MAGNETIC PICK UP DISTRIBUTER SYSTEMS, CAUSE I CANT GET MY AFTERMARKET TACH TO WORK WITH THE TACH PLUG ON THE MSD BOX HELP PLZ

I used the Mallory had no problems with my autometer tach, if you look in the instructions; there’s a table that tells you what tachs may need the adapter to work.

Your tach should plug into your msd box not your distributor so the dura spark doesnt matter.

My autometer tach works fine with the MSD out put.

Well make sure all your connections to and from the tach are good, because my buddy had the same problem with his sun pro tach and it turned out to be a bad connection.
