96 cobra vs. 02 gt mufflers

I have a pair of stock mufflers from a 96 cobra (my car) and a 02 gt. I am going to be doing a test between the two mufflers (and various others) on the dyno. I wanted toi know if the mufflers were exactly the same of not. thanks.

I'm 99.9% sure the mufflers are identical. Ford buys it's mufflers from an outside manufacturer. The only diff is the GT setup has bigger tips because in '99 the GT/Cobra got 3in. tips. The power differences would be very slim if any.

alright, thanks. Over at the corral they said they would be different...maybe ford would provide an accurate answer for me.
