Mustangworks Analyzer question
I put my data into the analyzer that is available on this site and I was wondering if the 350 horse figure that is returned is rear-wheel horsepower or flywheel horse? With that being said, appx. how much horse is usually lost through a typical drivetrain?
|
It's rear wheel hp. Usually 15% for manual tranny and 20% for auto is what people go by.

Yeah, I need to do some updates to the analyzer at some point here. There's some additional stuff I could add to it, as well as make the results better.

Any additions would be greatly apprecaited. Guys like me who don't have local dyno facilities have no other way of getting an estimate on HP #'s.
Thanks! |
how do you link to the HP thingie?
|
Over to the left of your screen is a list of links. Click on the one that says analyzer. The HP calculator is the very first one on the calculators. Good Job Dan!! You plug in your car's weight and 1/4 mile time to get an estimate of how much power you are making.
