My 86 GT is acting up on me. It starts fine and when i drive it up the road it is fine for maybe a mile or two then it starts to sputter. If i let it sit for about 45 minutes and start it up i can go back up the road fine again for maybe a mile and it starts to sputter again. I have changed the fuel filter,ACT sensor, spark plugs and wires, coil. Maybe it is the fuel pump? Injectors? I am possibly selling this car as well. Thanks guy.s

Could be the injectors are dirty... If they are the orignal 19#'s it may be time for a new set. You should be able to find a 19#'s cheap from some one who has a set lying around.

Mine did the exact same thing, and I had to replace the distributor. Check the pickup coil, aka: stator coil. A new one is $20 at the auto parts store, ad a new steel gear dist is about $90.
