Post My Alternators Gone South..... Need Help

I Took My Car In To A Electrical Shop Because The Blinkers Didnt Always Work, & My CD Player Wouldnt Always Stay On, & They Said My Alternator Isnt Fully Charging. What Could I Pull An Alternator Out Of So That It Is A DIRECT Bolt On & I Dont Have Any Charging Problems???

Thanks

i just had to replace mine, but sounds like you need a 130 amp upgrade, im not sure if it's a direct bolt on, and dont think it's cheap, i just went with a lifetime warranty autozone pos 75 amp but it works, also check fuses, sometimes a radio going off and on, could have a blown fuse.

with rebuilt alternators you always run a chance with putting it in and not having it work properly. A upgraded alt will help, but not a direct fit. Good luck

try www.pa-performance.com they get a lot of action on the corral.net and have new parts and lifetime warranty. i bought an early kit a few years ago and it was nice then, from the posts on corral it sounds like they are even better now. just a shot.

You should definitely consider the upgrade....you can get one from Auto Zone for about $150. It is out of a 95 mustang so it is not a direct bolt-on. There are a few mods you have to do. You can find out on almost any mustang website or if you need help send me an e-mail. I upgraded mine and it is charging beautifully
