Default My Belt Tensioner Thing Broke, Do I Need A New One, Or Can It Be Welded?

That Belt Tightener Thing broke when i got into my accident, along with my flex-a-lite fan.

can i weld it, or do i need a new one?

Replace it. They aren't that expensive anyway.

yeah, buut when you have no money, anything is a lot, just need to know if the metal is weldable?

If you're good enough, you could weld tinfoil, but I wouldn't recommend it. Same goes for this.

Can you afford the damage that it will cause when your weld breaks? Get a used part at a junkyard.

It can be welded with a low hydrogen rod...........Easy money!

Stealing it from a junkyard will cost u less than using up a low hydrogen rod.

YO Agent_4573..WHERE YA FROM IN JERSEY...IM USUALLY AT ATCO IN MY BLACK 89 LX....TURBINE WHEELS AND SOMETIMES DRAG RADIALS.....I JUST GOT IT BACK FROM THE SHOP ..GOT 327 GEARS INSTEAD OF 355S FOR NOW TIL I GET MY 373'S....SO I MIGHT NOT RUN IT TIL THEN..BUT LOOK FOR ME.....

I'm from the shore, right outside of ocean city, nj. I guess its about a 35-45 minute drive from here to atco, but its still the closest one. What days do you go, maybe I'll meet u up there.

WHEN I GO..ITS USUALLY TUES NIGHTS,THURS NIGHT..AND SOMETIMES ON FRIDAYS..I USUALLY HANG AROUND A WHITE GT..WITH SOUTH PARK IN THE BACK WINDOW.....THATS MY BUDDIES CAR......BUT THAT WONT BE THERE FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER WEEK..DUE TO HIM BREAKING HIS CRANK

I'll keep that in mind. I'm leaving for two weeks sunday night so I won't be up until the end of july but I'm definately going up oncee or twice after i put in the nitrous and before i go back to school.
