You could run a solid cam in your car. But you would have to ditch that Cobra intake, and make sure you had the compression to make big n/a power.
The downsides of a solid roller cam are periodic valve adjustments, and noise. They are seldom used on drivers.
Also I bet that Mustang you were talking about probably weighs 2900 lbs with the driver in it.
