My Engine Combo- REDONE.
Well, I just got $1800 dropped into my lap. Its burning a hole big time.
I want to redo my motor to run around 114mph N/A. Either a 351 or 302. I was thinkin new pistons, high compression port my heads a little higher revving cam and a new intake. On fordmuscle.com they have a junkyard block 5.0 with iron heads running 11.96@116mph in a 69 mustang with a stock T-5. Spinning upto 6800rpm on the shifts!! How long could a motor like that last... what should I do? I can't find any cheap used blowers, and I know that would end up running me move $1800 with all the accessories to get it running right, and I'd rather stay N/A Ive decieded.
