Retro Stang???
My wife just told me she heard a radio report that Ford was going to produce 6500 vehicles that looked just like the '66 stang but with all the new techno stuff. Anyone heard of this?

Don't know about a 66, but I did see an article regarding a limited series "Bullitt" clone (68) from the movie by the same name. It would be a new body style, same " Highland Green" color with lots of performance options.

I don't see how they could come up with something that would meet the safety nazi requirements, crash bumpers, etc., and look like a 66.

I think I heard something about this a couple of weeks ago....I think Ron is correct, they are doing "Bullit" clones. I even saw a picture somewhere....basically a 2001 Mustang with a 68 Cobra Jet hood scoop.
