Exclamation NEED TO BUY AN MAF ASAP, WHERE??

HELP!

My one and only car is down with a shot MAF and I need a replacement part. I talked with Ford and they want $177 + my original for a Used stock MAF!

Dallas Mustang has a Pro-M 75mm for $209, but the delivery is a week, I can't wait that long!

Does anyone know a place anywhere that I can get a Pro-M 75mm MAF in a day to 2?

I like it pretty well. But all I can compare it to is the stock unit. They are $125...

Cool

Amazing, $152 for a 73mm Vortech MAF hand delivered to my door. That sure beats the week+ wait time from some of the other shops I called.

Ummm, uhhh, I don't want to worry you, but the Vortech MAF re-uses the stock electronics. When I put mine on I had to take the electronics off of the old MAF and bolt them onto the new one. Essentially, the Vortech MAF is just a bigger tube with a different sized sampling tube designed to "trick" the computer. You may not have solved your problem.

Cool

I got the Pro-M Billet MAF and really like it, no problems w/ it. I know a few people w/ it and they've had no complaints. I got it from Modern Mustangs (in the $180 range).....ask for Ray.

****! Thanks for the heads up 89 Cobra LX. I called the techline and they did not recommend the vortech unit to solve my problem. I had to order the Granatelli 75mm.

It was a lot more expensive, but I don't want to waste money getting the wrong part. It's best to do things the right way the first time around.

I hope it atleast gives me some more power.

You can buy stock electronics from www.mass-air.com for $119 + shipping, all original ford parts. I had to replace my electronics on my 80mm C&L and the ford dealer here wanted to charge me $169+$90 core because I had tampered with the stock meter.
