![]() I took the car up the road a little bit and almost immediately noticed it was smoking very badly. A very choking smoke that made it's way into the cab of the car. I stopped and turned around immediately because i thought the car was on fire. Luckily it was not, it was just a massive amount of oil burning on the passenger side of the motor. Their was oil on the valve cover and all over near the starter and where the engine hooks up to the trans. Id say in about 2 minute time, it lost almost a quart of oil. I then cranked it back up, it started fine right up, but the oil pressure was 5 psi!!! I don't know what the hell is wrong with it, i thought maybe a rear main seal, that is what some say but that doesn't explain the low oil pressure does it?
