Need Help Please. No Spark

I have a MSD 6A box, Stock coil(for now), MSD Distributor. 1985 notch carb'd

I tested the msd 6a box the way msd tells u to. and when i check the box i get spark outta the coil. But when i crank i get no spark from the coil. What could this be? the coil should be good since it sparks good when i check the msd box. One more thing. When i click the ignition on and off i get one single spark from the coil but then no spark when i crank it.

Your getting no spark from the coil when you crank it or no spark at the plugs when you crank it? If it's not getting it to the plugs it could be the TFI module, but if it's not coming out of the coil, try replacing it first.

When i test the msd 6a box according to the msd site MSD Trouble-Shooting

i get spark out of the coil. strong spark/s. But when i crank i get no spark at all. Well i do get one single spark when i turn the key from off to the on position everytime. i am thinking its the ignition switch but how do i make sure?

Can you try bypassing the MSD all together and see if you still don't have spark, if not replace the coil and try it again.

Coil's are cheap and the bypass method is just for testing not perm....You don't have a buddy you can swap out with? If I was at home at all this month I would send you one, I've got a couple laying around.
