Default Dipstick length?

I have part number E7SE-6750-BA. It is 23 1/4" from the lower tip to the lip that flushes up to the dipstick tube.

Any verification of this as a valid fox 5 liter dipstick would be appreciated.

Thanks...

If you are looking for accuracy, the best way to find out is to change your oil and filter, and run the engine briefly, and let it settle for an hour. Then check the dipstick. Where ever the oil is becomes your new mark. If it doesn't match one that's already on the dipstick, use a punch and make a new mark. This way you know exactly where the proper oil level is in your engine, with your mods.

Default thanks...

Pkrwud,
I am still working on my oil problem on number 5. I am ruling out everything, including the prospect of overservicing it all this time.
I am quite sure I've always put 5 quarts in every oil change, but had to put in more shortly thereafter to get it to the etched "safe" mark on the dipstick. I just chalked this up to the new filter having to fill up with oil.
I guess I'll change the filter, fill it with 5 quarts, run it for a few minutes, mark it and go.
If it still eats oil, I guess it's definitely a bad ring.
Thanks...
