Need a new tranny

I blew my AOD trans about 2 months ago and have found a used one for sale for $200 and it has 60K miles on it. Is it worth getting the owner says it runs fine he just got it with the motor and had a 5 speed he has in his stang so doesnt need the AOD. I would get the seals replaced on the tranny before installing it just wanted to know some of your input on this. Thanks alot

Yes

1989-93 AOD cores go for $150 here, sometimes more. Thats for somthing that might work.
