need opinions on 5.0 build
 

First off I am new here,so hello everybody! I am in the process of collecting/buying the parts needed to build a decent lil 302. These are the parts so far..Stock bottom end standard 302 w/Canfield heads-192cc intake-exhaust has been raised .400-2.02 intake-1.60 exhaust-58cc,F cam,BBK SSI intake,UPR 70mm tb and spacer,C&L 73mm MAF,24lb injectors,MAC equal shorties and complete Mac 2 1/2 exhaust w/off road x pipe and 2 1/2 inch tails out the back. Now for the opinions..I need to know will this combo bring good results or are the heads over kill? Yes I intend to beef up the bottom end at a later date. Any opinions/advise (good or bad)would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

heads are way over kill.165 afr or 170 trick flow would be best.i dont personally like the ford racing cams..i have had them,they work but there are way better cams to use

Actually I have decided not to use the Canfield heads,instead I have decided to use a set of gt40p heads for the time being. Thanks for the info!
