NEED SOME OPINIONS
I am currently in the process of building a new engine. I bought a DSS low comp pro bullet, holley system max upper and lower intake, ford motorsport f-cam, 1.7 roller rockers, world product heads 64cc 2.02/1.60, and to go along with that a vortech S-trim.
I was just wandering if anyone had any suggetions, or if they thought this was a good set up? |

Sounds very well thought out to me. The Motorsport F cam is a particularly good choice for a blower. There might be better cams out there...but if you stick with FMS stuff that's the best one. And if it were me I'd probablygo with a set of Canfield's instead of the World heads...but the Windsor Sr's are pretty good too.

Thanks for your opinion, i was going to go with the canfield stage II heads but i kind of ran into a money issue. and i thought that the world products seemed to flow just about the same, for about $600 less.
By any chance do you know if the f-cam will idle with the stock computer? |

It definately looks like a nice combo to me. The only place I would've gone a different route was on the heads.....but I know how the $$$ issue goes ! Nice set up - let us know how it progresses.

WOW, I think the world SR or JR heads are great. Im running 11.51 @ 123 on unported windsor JRs. My friend is running 11.17 @ 121 on the SRs. And he only has a B cam in his. Of course we both have a 150 shot of juice to go along with it.

I have the f-cam in my car and it is awesome.
A little rough but sounds good. I had to set mine at 2 degrees advanced, but your setup might be different. And i have the edelbrock 6037's. It does surge when i first start it up for about a min, then is fine. But that didn't happen till after i put the blower on ------------------ 93gt T-5 Mods:edelbrock heads,gt-40 upper&lower,f-303cam,65mm TB,75mm MAF,24#inj,190lph pump,msd6btm,powerdyne 6lbs supercharger, adj fuel press reg and guage, autometer monster tach with shift lite, drag springs with airbag, aluminum driveshaft,BBK unequal headers,h-pipe,2chamber flowmaster, subframe conn's,3.73 gears.Megabyte jr lower rear control arms,Offroad H-pipe.Griffin aluminum radiator.Moser 31 spline axles, Auburn Pro unit.Weld Pro Star rims |

I am N/A with the F cam. I bought the cam because I was told it would be great for a blower. I can idle mine so low it will almost kill the car, but it will lope along just fine. I still have my stock computer, but I don't have any idea what it will do with a blower. Good luck, and sounds like a killer combo!
