It sounds like your setup should be good for launches from the drag racing specific parts you listed. What happens when you try to leave the line? What kind of tires are you running? Removing your front swaybar would probably help some if you haven't done that (I wouldn't drive it without the swaybar on the street, though).

Pull your front sway bar and she'll launch, Sir! you have all the good basic stuff, are you expecting too much?

Have you removed the quad shocks?

Post a little more info

Ok, running Hoosier Quick Time Pro D.O.T drags. On Weld Draglites. tire size: 27x 11.5 x 15 @ 11 PSI. Anything over 4K launch lites them up, not only in 1st. but 2nd also. I can launch at 3600-3700 rpm, but max torque is at 4500.(according to DYNO sheet)

Running a World class T-5 with hanlon 295z gears, and all parts from hanlon. Auborn pro with 456 gears

Chassis. 8 pt cage with cross bars in rear. Full sub frames done by Chassis Designz. Everyone says the car sit too low. but I have the eidbach launch springs. And yes, sway bar is off, and running draglites 4" wide up front. Only thing under the hood is a carbed motor and alternator. I just bought a rolling chassis ( a coupe) and the rear sits noticably higher than mine. Wondering if i should try the springs from it.

I've also been told to install a line lock to really heat up the tires. I drop it in 3rd gear in the water box and get about 3 to 4 seconds of burn out if i try and apply brakes, car swings left or right.

try going with a trunk mount battery kit, I don't think you mentioned if your quad shocks were removed. Also Do you have an aftermarket pinion snubber installed? How old/new are your springs?

Arrow trunk mount.

Battery is going into the back, have the moroso blue box with vent.(legal for hatch back ) Springs are basically brand new, 12 runs on them. Pinion snubber?????? tell me more of this pinion snubber.

Ohh, and with the SSM's and lakewood shocks, there is no quad setup, there is no quad shock.

LOL< New problem, look for other post
