Default New A/C

My AC compressor has a leak and my buddy at the AC shop quoted me like $350-$400 for the new compressor plus labor is this good or should I go with a rebuilt one for cheaper. This car is my daily and I drive about 20min to work everyday in the florida heat so I really need my AC.

well if it's a leak, where is it leaking, A/C O-rings can be replaced as well as A/C lines too.

Either way, I would go new!
