New combo is up and running (just not idling) !!!
 
The combo consists of AFR 165's, GT-40 Intake & FRPP 65MM TB, Small Ultradyne cam & 1.7 rockers, and FRPP 24# injectors along with matching sample tube for C&L 73MM MAF. It runs strong with gobs of low end. When I start it up from cold it idles real sweet for a minute or two and then it starts going apesh*t hunting and stalling. I tried playing with the screw that adjusts the throttle blade position to no avail. That didn't change a thing so I set it back to where it was originally. Any input is welcome. Thanks in advance.

BTW: I forgot to mention that its an SN95.

Well had the same problem here...

I got an Anderson Computer to help me out idle better. That's like 800 bucks so the cheaper route is a 93 computer, but I don't suggest it. You can also get the speed brain, but you are shelling out that cash might as well get the Anderson Computer. To this day my car idles funny at times for like 30 seconds and then it comes back to life. Not as bad as before. Custom burned chip may help you. It's time for a dyno tune, I'm sure that will get you lots more ponies. It did wonders for me.

Try this:

first reset the computer. Disconnect the battery for 20+ minutes. Reconnect the battery and unplug the IAC motor.
Start the car. You may have to give it gas to keep it idling. Set the idle speed screw to 600-700 rpm. Turn the car off and keep the key forward. Set the TPS voltage to .95-.98 volts. Start the car again and make sure the idle is still at 600-700 rpm. Shut the car off, plug the IAC motor back in, and start the car with all accessories running for 2 minutes. Shut the car off for 2 minutes. Idle the car again for 2 minutes with no accessories on.

If that does not work you may have to give your engine a vacuum leak to it won't surge at idle and die. I removed the smallest vacuum plug of the firewall. If this works you need a custom chip burned that trims the fuel back at idle.
