![]() Today I installed a new PRO 5.0 shifter. Installation was great and I love it. But I was driving tonight and I noticed it's getting very very hot in the ash tray area. Almost like the heat is on.
The instructions said to remove the dust cover from the stock t-5 shifter. So basically there is no boot. I don't mind the dust cover missing but it's also noisy. But my main concern is the heat. Could the transmission get that hot? or maybe it's from my off road h-pipe. But why did it not get that hot before? Any suggestions or comments would be great. Thanks in advance ------------------ Green '94 GT conv. -- K&N filter charger, FMS 9mm wires, Accel hipo cap/rotor, 180* thermo, 14* timing, off road H-pipe in front of 2 chamber flow's, Steeda subframe connectors w/ crossbrace, and still workin' on the rest!
