whats up with this wiring harness?
i have a harness from a 88 non mass air car and i am trying to put it into a 89 and the white and grey plugs where the computer harness plugs into the dash harness are diffrent that anyones i seen b4..there is onlt on black plug on the 88 computer harness and it is a male when its sopsosed to be a female???i have 87, 89, and 90 harness and they all have 2 plugs there??why does this one only have one???is i out of another car??thanks in advanced

Are you sure it's an 88 harness?? I've seen newer 91-93 harnesses with 1 plug like you stated.

it came out of a 88 gt convert but alot of things on the car were weird..the car was an abortion job so i stripped it and junked it..im thinking the harness came from a lincoln or f-150??thier is also a low fuel light relay box on it???

Up to the 1986 model year, mustangs had a low fuel light warning module, but it was in the dash harness. It could possibly be out of an 86GT. I know the harnesses changed a couple of times over the years. I recently did an EFI swap into my 84 GT and found through wiring diagram research there were differences in wire colors and connector locations.
