I dont know if the county you live in requires emissions testing, but this Air Check Texas deal they have us using is a really tight spec for the emissions. A carbed motor, I think, will put out more emissions making it harder to pass the test. Really, I would go with whichever you know best, and it sounds to me like you have better working knowledge of the efi motors. But in the end, the choice is all yours, so go with whichever you think will make you happy. And BTW - Welcome to MW!!!
