New short block ordered
I just ordered a D.S.S. Pro Bullet short block with an E cam. With everything I have listed do you think I will have a problem running mid to high 12's? The Tech at D.S.S. told me I should be able to with no problem if it is tuned right? What do you think? Is anyone else here running this short block and how do you like it??? Thanks for any feed back you can give.

With some sticky tires (maybe some good slicks) I'd say 12s are well within your grasp. Assuming you get good traction and a good reaction, you should have mid 12s. Although I question the E cam. Their good proven cams, but many other cams out there run harder and are still more streetable. I'd also ditch the Cobra intake for a better high rpm breather like a Holley Systemax or a TFS R series intake. And once it's all up and tuned you may decide to use 30lb injectors. You could run 12s on them, but anything more might be pushing it.
