![]() I just bought an '88GT. I want to do some inexpensive mods to it. (I am saving the big bucks for my '82GT)
What would be some quick easy things I could slap on it? It already has a k&N filter. Do those hyper chips really do much? I was also thinking about changing the T/B. Would that be a good choice although the engine is bone stock? I just want to add some fairly inexpensive parts and am wondering what would be the best mods for the money. I never had one of these computer mustangs before. ------------------ '82 GT 351W,BBK shorties, Comp Cam,edelbrock intake 625 cfm carter carb. c-4 tranny w/ pro stick shifter. 4 core radiator Mallory distributor. 3:27 ......................... |

![]() If you don't want to spend much cash, get a set of power pullies and an H-Pipe. It will sound good and your car will perform better. A set of 373 gears will really wake up the car.
I haven't heard good things about chips. They may work well on a heavily modified car, but it would not be worth while on a stock motor. |
