no i never touch my timing. checked my plugs and it was running richmy car runs 7.87 on motor at 87.4mph.my motor is stock bottom end with tw heads ,eldo intake,24lb inj, 75 tb, 73 mass air, 4.10 gear. with a comp cam dont no the specs but it is preety big with 1.72 rollers on it

Sounds like a good motor combination. What size fuel pump are you running? I've been using nitrous for many years now, and consider myself fairly educated with the 'ol laughing gas. Unless running race gas, any motor should have the timing retarded down to 8-10 degrees btdc when running a 125 shot or higher. I'm just curious...how come you don't retard your timing at all? You might not see any signs of detonation just yet...but you could be doing damage to your motor that shows up down the road.

because that is were we dynoed it atthata why i dont touch my timing. i have a255 feul pump. my mechanic has been doing it 4 years 2 he said it would be fine.we also had a car with the same set up escept with no cam or in jectors with 2 stage 90on1 125 on 2 it ran really well.go 2 the web www.carolinaautomasters.com Carolina Auto Masters look 4 johnny medlin 91 mustang 451hp

Right on. So the dyno I would assume could tell that nothing was in danger with the timing at 14? That's awesome. I wanna get my car dynoed sometime soon. Thanks for the link. Being that we have similar setups...what is your fuel pressure set at at idle with the vacuum hose on?

i dont no what my fuel is on but we like 2 run it lean on gas
