Post Nitrous Switches

I got the nitrous works full throttle switch. I cant figure out how to rig it up. I have currently an arming switch and a button on the shift knob. I figured the WOT switch would be added safety as I do not have a MSD6AL. I just have a 6A. Also if I miss a shift and hit the factory 6250 rev limiter on the nos is my motor toast?

THanks

First run the hot wire to the arming switch, then to the WOT switch, the to the button on the shift knob. simple

That is tricky, You will have to bend the bracket until you find a way to make the switch get pressed whrn the bracket on the throttle body comes around. I took off the bolt on the bottom right side of the throttle body and bolted it there.

yes sky u will blow that thing the f up if you hit the factory limmiter..facorty limiter rids of fuel..i would go grab a msd window box..you put 2 rpm pills in it and set it for low rpm turn on and high rpm turn off..figure use about 3,000 for low and 5,900-6,000 for high turnoff..then you will be safe..but still use the WOT switch..those are manditory

Hey sky: yes the 6al will work fine but if you have a little extra money I would strongly recommend the digital 6+ because it has a nitrous retard. You should back the timing down about 2 degrees for every 50 hp you add. It also has 2 rev limiters and can be adjusted with a small screwdriver. I have mine mounted on the kick panel on the driver side so I can adjust it in the car, and no it does not get in the way of the clutch pedal.

BTW: do you have a fuel pressure cut off switch?
IF not I would recommend that too.
