Default Nitto Drag Radials?

I'm considering the Nitto dr, size 275/40/17. According to the Nitto web site, these tires will last up to 15k miles under normal street driving.

Since I don't drive my lx much, I was thinking of converting the rears permanently.

Any opinions on the Nittos? Can they last at least 10k???

i got nearly 15000 miles on mine and now they almost look like slicks. There is no tread left in the middle just on the sides. I didn't go to the track too often this year, but i did play with it a little on the street, so if you go to the track very often i think they will probably last 7500 to 10000 max. they hook very well when warmed and have real good manners for daily driving

It all depends on how you drive. If you light 'em up at every light they won't last long, but if you drive like your grampa they might. They're a good tire for the street. The BFG's hook harder but don't last as long and are not as good in the rain. I run the Nittos and I like 'em.
