Post NOS bottle in a convert

Well I am installing it into my 91 wed. I did a quick check before I went on leave to see how it will fit in the trunk. With my battery located back there I really dont have much room to play with.
Has anyone replaced the fiberboard that covers the spare tire with plywood and mounted the bottle to it? The idea just popped in my head and was wondering if anyone else has done it.

yep, done that. It works pretty well. Nice for the ditching the bottle during, say, emissions testing...

I would just make sure you secure the plywood.
