Novi 1000
I just bought the Novi 1000 kit for my car. I ordered it from that Muscle Motors outfit that sells them on Ebay as well.
Does anyone have any experience with this kit? I want to push about 12 psi out of it, and I understand it uses the existing crank pulley/serpentine system. So I have to dig up my stock crank pulley wherever it may be. I read a little on the Corral about this kit and everyone pretty much trashes it and says even an A-trim would be better. So the nitrous is out, and the blower is in. |

Just out of curiosity, how much $$$ did it set you back?
Take care, -Chris

no more bottles to fill, you'll enjoy that
As a SN-93 paxton blower owner myself,I can tell you that you will be happy with your Novi 1000 blower. My SN-93 kit had everything that was needed for the installation right down to the zip-ties.The bracketry is second to none.
Far as those Corral guys, many people over there do know alot about the mustang performance mods that we all love to do,but so many of them think they are the "gods" of mustang performance,in which in some cases I've seen over there is down right hilarious. The A-trim does not have the airflow OR horsepower potential that your Novi 1000 has.If they wanna argue, than tell them the A-trim is a old model and can only safely support 10 pounds of boost, facts R facts...the A-trim is a great blower, but the Novi can support more boost and make more power Show them this page as well if they still wanna argue http://www.rpmoutlet.com/paxton.htm |

I thought I remember reading some dyno tests where Novi 1000 cars were making something like 425 or 450 to the wheels on a Dynojet. It was in one of the Mags. I don't really believe that stuff until I see my car spinning the rollers to those numbers though.
Chris, I paid 1699.00, plus 50 bucks for an FMU upgrade for my 30 pound injectors, add shipping/handling, and it cam to like 1825.00. |

850 Cfm thats not to bad at all The A-trim kicks out 720 cfm so there is a a large Gap there the 130cfm will help it out alot. I see that they say the Max Psi is 12 for it I would get the samllest pully you can then then see How much Psi you will get rember that says Max 12Psi But any How still will make very close to 500+HP so I am sure you will like!!! I would call Novi up and Talk to there techs and as them what is the smallest Pulley that they think you should Run as I think you will want the Blower going Full Tillit!!!! But with out over Reving it or might not last to long..... I cant wait to see what it will do!!!! I Love Boost myself I thought alot about doing it on the stang.......But I will have fun with my other Motor that I have that I am building it up......Dont ask what it is.... has I might be Baned...hehehe

I've been considering buying the Novi 1000 kit from these guys. Let us know how you like it.
$1700-$1800 for an entry level blower is a good deal.
