Hey Rob, man you have no luck at all do ya man? The reason for not wanting to drop below 40psi is because the supercharger and your stock computer (assuming your computer is stock) is not going to let you drop below 40 psi. My mom has a supercharger on hers and it did the same thing. The stock computer is gonna let the motor surge ALOT. My mom's does that terrible. It'll idle real chunky and lopey, then it smooths out.
