Oil In The Intake
I pulled the upper intake and saw oil around the lower openings, then I checked the upper and it was lightly coated with oil. I changed the PCV,but the old one was still working. Is this a bad sign? There's only 46,500mi. on it. Thanks guys!

I could be mistaken but I think this is a common happening with the Eaton and screw type blowers. When you are decelerating it will actually pull oil up through the valve seals and it pools in the intake.

Your lower intake gaskets may be leaking, pulling oil from the lifter valley.
That's what happened to me anyway.

I had oil in the intake only because my vacuum lines were routed wrong with my supercharger. Plus putting a breather helps too!

I have a breather and I hooked up everything according to the instructions. After speaking with a friend who has a turbo,he says his also has traces of oil and he's a mechanic.

I have this problem as well, but in an N/A car, i have the mods listed below. We have taken the intake off twice. The first time we took it off, it was b/c the car was smoking, and burning oil, so we took the intake off, saw oil in the intake runners and all over the gasket, so we replaced it, sealed it up real good, then the problem kept occuring, we took the whole motor apart, replaced the rings, (whiche were only a few months old) checkd the rocker arm studs, replaced the valve stem seals, sealed up the intake real good, and about 600 miles later, there it goes again, any thoughts? We built the motor in late may, early june, and took it apart in november, to correct this problem, but still no result. We did notice that both times we took the engine apart, there was quite a bit of oil in the intake, any idea how this is, the car is cuarberated, and the pcv system, it does leak a little bit of oil onto the valve covers, but there is no hose leading to the air filter, id appreciate the help, this problem has been driving me crazy thnx
