My 306 has 30k on it since new in 2001.
I've got a bad piston ring in number 5, so while I've got it out, I think I'll stroke it. I think I can probably reuse my flattop TRW pistons, but little else on the shortblock. I drive the hell out of it. I plan on putting my TFS TW heads back on too. But probably new springs, lifters, and pushrods since I use 1.7 rr's. I've got a 75mm tb, 80mm MAF, and 24# inj. I plan on doing this next month, all machine work will be done by a reputable local shop. Thanks for any tips...
