I installed a new speedometer cable in a friends 86LX--5.0EFI w/auto. After installation, the oil and fuel guages no longer work. I loosed the cluster and moved it away from the dash about 2" for better access to the cable, so I presume I bumped something. I've looked behind the cluster to try to find out what came loose, I can't find anything that stands out.

Sounds like one of the large dash connectors is partially out. Did you check the fuses?

I checked the fuses, I also slid the guage cluster out for a second time to see if I missed anything......once again nothing.

I will take a closer look within the next couple days when I have more time to check all of the dash connection in the area. Thanks, Jeremiah
