How to remove Vortech blower pulley?
I want to change my blower pulley in my quest for more power, but the new pulley did not come with any instructions on how to take off the original pulley on my Vortech blower. I called Vortech and Tech told me to take a torch and heat up the pulley and it will just slide off after I take off the nut with an impact wrench.
I just wanted to know if this is the way you guys are doing it or is there another way. Thanks for your help...Peter |

You should be able to use a three jaw puller if you have the room. Just be carful not to wreck the threads. A little heat will do wonders though.
