Old cam in a new block?

I've been running this E303 cam for several years now. When I get a rebuilt shortblock, would it be safe to use this cam again in the new block? Or do I really need to buy another cam?

roller cams really dont wear out. you shouldnt have any problems reuseing it.

You're good to go. Roller cams don't wear like flat tappet cams do.

Ditto, providing the cam journals are in good shape?
