head question

I have an 86 5.0 block with 85 heads, and carbureted, I would like to replace the heads for a little more power, right now I can’t afford GT 40’s nor after markets, I can pick up a set of E7 for 40.00, would the E7 heads help me at all? Or are they basically the same as what’s on the car now

they are a little better than what you have on there now.........

so what your saying is it's not worth the trouble to change the heads unless i can by a good set, I came across some GT 40's for 400.00, is that a good price if i can come up with the cash?

For the effort and cost (gaskets, etc) I'd wait for some GT40 heads to bother.

Yeah, I Would Wait An Get The Gt 40's And Thats A Normal Price For Them.....
