Default One more 19's vs 24's question

Well I did some research here, and there was alot of good info, I believe unit5302 was in some old threads on this subject, but i want some fresh opinions now, and being my car is revved to the moon on every run down the track, also not a daily driver.
Would i be wasting money right now since i need mufflers at the moment too?
I have currently 19 lbs, but not stock, they are the black and blue delphi/lucas without the pintle cap design, im assuming they can hold up to 350 fwhp with the right psi according to the research here anyway.
I probaly have 300 fwhp easily, so what should i do? I already have a maf setup for 24's in my garage, what about matched injectors? the analyzer says i'll have to run 31 psi with 24's, and i do not want that low of fuel psi.
Thnx.

I would say it is time to upgrade to 24's. Run 24# injectors @38psi and the ECU will adjust the pulse width accordingly. Thats what I do and it works great. The dyno doesnt lie.

I'd say you're fine either way. We have pretty similar set ups and I ran 19's for a long time. Just recently upgraded to 24's so I can run a shot of giggle gas.

1989gt, yea we do have a similar setup, but i have the non-p 40 heads, mine are probaly around 64cc chambers since they came off an explorer, but the guy that sold them to me, said he had them milled at the very minimum.....whatever that is.
Are you gonna run a dry shot of n20? with a dss pro bullet why not a shot of a wet 150.

Yeah I plan on running a dry shot, I've seen a couple of wet nitrous backfires take out intakes so I'd rather run a dry shot...atleast at first until I get the whole nitrous thing figured out. The GT40P heads are what came on the explorer. They have 59cc combustion chambers.

The ford explorer had gt-40 (not p's but 1.54 exhaust valve) in the early years, early 96? or so, thats what i have, they were 65cc heads, before the mill.
Yea 59 or 58cc sounds about what i want eventually, with some more machine/milling.

My friend sprays a wet 150 on a h/c/i 302 with a c4, damn, the one backfire he had, blew the open element k@n filter up pretty bad, but his intake survived, he since got a nitrous delay box to prevent that from happening, trial and error i guess.

Oh I didn't know they used the GT40 head prior to using the P head on 97+ explorers, learn something new everyday.

Yea, It was new to me at the time, I got them simply because they were cheap, and i knew i could use my headers on them.
