Post OPINIONS ON FUEL PRESSURE

Right now my FP is at 36 w/ vac and 38 without. I'm still running a stock FPR for the time being, and it runs great right now. Does that setting sound right for my combo below? I have the stock 24s and 155 lph pump. Thanks.

that is what you want...if you can adjust it...you may want to go up or down 2 pounds to see what it does to your trap speed.
You can run quicker if you lean it sometimes...depends on your car.....
But where is your timing at??? your trap speed (no matter what your ET or 60' time was) should be around 110 i would say....w/ about a 12.40-12.70 ET.
Even if you spun like crazy....Trap speed is about the same.

After I put the cold air on it, it leaned it out quite a bit. It isnt adjustable, so I'm gonna have to live with it for now. You really think I should run that fast on radials with 308s? I had a 2.22 60ft, and I'm going back tonight since it's running alot better compared to last time. I'm hoping for a 13.3 @ 106 or so. I'll post my times later on tonight.

I could be wrong...but w/ your mods i think you should run around 110 trap speed.
Usually no matter how bad your traction is..your 60' is pretty consistent.
But your numbers w/ 3.08's and radials aren't bad...i just think there's more there.

110? With a full weight 95 cobra? I don't know about that. The gears kill ya too.

I think your FP may be a bit high. What's your pressure at WOT?

I'm running 30psi at idel and 38 at WOT.(I think, can't remember exactly)

Ok I made 2 runs last night. The best was the first one...13.61 @ 104.7 with a 2.22. I think the humidity cost me a tenth. Seems like it takes 3rd forever to wind up, but I still want to run 12s with these gears. My car was 3350 from the factory, but with aluminum heads and driveshaft, off road hpipe and fiberglass hood, I've shed about 100lbs. So add in my 200 + a bit for gas and it's about 3480 or so. I'm not sure about my FP at WOT since I don't have a gauge, but I think I'm closer to lean now than rich.

Anyone think 12s are possible with 308s and radials on a cool night with a few more mods??

Nope. Not with steet tires and that MPH. I barely ran a 12 with slicks. My mph was pretty close to yours. To get in the 12's you either need a set of gears or slicks. Both should get you in the mid 12's. Just my $.02
