trunk (or hatch) side post batteries
Why are Optima and other side mount batteries much more expensive than a Sears Die Hard or similar batteries? Do they last much longer?? The reason why I'm asking is because I need a battery for inside my hatch on a 93GT and $150.00 seems like it's too much when I can go to Sears or Wal-Mart and get a die-Hard

i got a bigass chevey sidemount truck battery mounted in my trunk..that thing will last 4ever and it makes the battery less prone to shorting or arcing accidently IMO(cuz its not in a box)

I have a sears battery in my hatch in my battery box! i cant see spending that much for a battery right now either.

OK..that's all I needed to hear. I'll be going to Sears. Also, is the Mass. Mustang club looking for any new members. You can see what I'm building from my sig. and my Uncle (who would also be interested) has a 96 Cobra.
