Post trunk (or hatch) side post batteries

Why are Optima and other side mount batteries much more expensive than a Sears Die Hard or similar batteries? Do they last much longer?? The reason why I'm asking is because I need a battery for inside my hatch on a 93GT and $150.00 seems like it's too much when I can go to Sears or Wal-Mart and get a die-Hard

OK..that's all I needed to hear. I'll be going to Sears. Also, is the Mass. Mustang club looking for any new members. You can see what I'm building from my sig. and my Uncle (who would also be interested) has a 96 Cobra.
