Question RE: got $800.00 burnin a hole in my pocket...

okay,

It seems that I will get more bang for the buck by doing something with the heads.

I was looking at a set of powerheads from PC automotive.
(E7TE heads ported with bigger valves see mm&ff July 1999
page 180). they dynoed the car with minor boltons and got a 38 hp gain from ported stock heads. Maybe I should just replace the heads for now, then the upper, lower and the rest later.

Oh, by the way, we are talking about changing the heads on a 105,000 mile motor. Ive heard that this is not a good Idea on an old engine opening a can of worms and all that.

Anyone have any problems changing heads on a high milage motor?

Thanks,
